MAHARAI. 1Chr. 27:13 tells us, "the tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai..." Maharai is Hebrew name which means impetuous. The captain of each month was prophetically relevant with the month correspondingly. So this month asks for our diligence, carefulness, vigilance etc. We should avoid beeing hasty as the people of faith. True believers should not be hasty unless they hear and believe (Isa. 28:16). We should not be too hasty to forget the use of God-given mental powers in any of our endeavours this month of October. The Almighty God will give the abilities of the spirit to our spirit to see things ahead of time and season, He will make our vigilance hightened, He will fortify our mental powers until His divinity fully manifests in the name of Jesus Christ. written by Pastor Idowu J.
